Linux ARM System on Module (MP-1304-A8SOM) is a system-on-module (SOM) developed based on the open source Linux platform. The module uses a low power ARM Cortex-A8 MPUs 1G core, embedded processor, graphics acceleration engine, programmable realtime unit sub-system, industrial sub-system and hardware encryption in a small sized design. It is ideal for embedded applications with strict space requirements. 

The system supports interfaces of network transmission, image display, data transmission, audio and data storage. Regarding the network transmission, it covers two 10/100/1000Mbps adaptive industrial Ethernet interfaces and the IEEE1588 precision time synchronization protocol. Regarding the image display, it provides a TFT LCD/VGA/HDMI screen and touch panel. Regarding the data transmission, it has 2 CAN2.0A/B-compatible industrial CAN interfaces, 8-channel 12 bit ADC, 2 PHY USB2.0 high-speed OTG and SPI, TC, PWM, IIC and multi-GPIO. Regarding the audio, the audio interface is AC’97. Regarding the data storage, it has the SD/TF card extension interface. The system also has a hardware watchdog to increase system reliability, which makes it ideal for industrial control and industrial HMI systems to extend their computation and communication functions. 

As the system is equipped with complete communication interfaces, it also supports the I/O interface of up to 16 bit data and 26 bit address. Features include high flexibility, easy expansion and fast secondary development. These make it an IoT industry application platform designed for equipment manufacturers to simplify development processes, reduce development time, and lower risks and cost.
