This Christmas, Microprogram has cooperated with the “Taiwan Fund for Children and Families” for the second time to organize the “Be My Santa Claus - Microprogram, Making It Meaningful Together” event, which has received enthusiastic response and support from the staff. Through the event, 100 Christmas wishes from children have been fulfilled. The event aims to help children from economically disadvantaged households and give them a heart-warming and loving Christmas. In addition, in cooperation with The Garden of Hope Foundation and United Way of Taiwan, Microprogram has set up a “Smart Donation Machine,” which combines electronic tickets and mobile payment. With a simple scan, a donation is completed to spread love!

Call on the staff to play Santa Claus for the children

For the second year in a row, Microprogram has cooperated with the “Taiwan Fund for Children and Families” and the staff has responded to the event enthusiastically as usual. An employee shared that he received a card from a child for Santa Claus, which read: “I want a sleeping bag with a princess pattern. I will finish my lunch as soon as possible and then get into the warm bed like a kangaroo.” To get a sleeping bag that the child will love, he especially asked the social worker to ask the child which princess she prefers. He sincerely hoped that the child could receive the gift that she wanted the most. Some children also wrote on the card: “It's very cold, Santa Claus please remember to put more clothes on. I will take good care of and cherish the gift that I receive, thank you!” Every word and sentence warmed the staff’s hearts.

Microprogram combines e-payment technology with charity and donations are completed within seconds

For this, Microprogram’s CEO Tony Wu says he appreciates the staff for their love. In addition to organizing Christmas charity events with the “Taiwan Fund for Children and Families” on a regular basis, Microprogram also regularly cooperates with the “United Way of Taiwan.” By using the company's product “Smart Donation Machine” as a payment device for charity donations, donors can quickly make small donations through e-ticket or mobile payment. This kind of device is also used in the first “Charity Charging Station” in Taiwan recently opened to the public in Bade District, Taoyuan City. While charging service for electric vehicle owners is provided, all the proceeds will be donated to United Way of Taiwan, hoping to achieve the goals of green energy, environmental protection and charity. In addition, Microprogram was invited by the Fong-Yi Global Strategy Center this year to assist The Garden of Hope Foundation in applying the “Smart Donation Machine” to the Christmas charity sale “Global Strategy Center Christmas Week – It’s Heartwarming to Have You,” to facilitate the charity organization to know the donation status in real time and realize the goal of “cashless donation, wireless sensing, and unlimited love! ”

In the future, Microprogram will continue to devote itself to the practice of corporate social responsibility (CSR) and sustainable management (ESG), hoping to be better in Environment, Social and Governance. Microprogram will also make good use of its advantages in the field of IoT to create industrial value with partners while giving back to people in need of help in society to pass on the love and achieve more meaningful good deeds.
