HID Reader Module-Dual Terminal Block Design (MP1606R-HID) is an HID card reader module developed based on HID MCM. It supports the HID Prox card family with over 137 billion unique codes and identifies card formats of up to 85 digits, including all short and long HID formats, as well as the highly secure Corporate 1000 format.
The communication of the HID Reader Module-Dual Terminal Block Design is done by bidirectional polling. When the communication between the EM module and controller is lost, the controller can make decisions instantaneously and respond to the back-end system with the fastest reading speed.
The HID Reader Module-Dual Terminal Block Design supports the output of Wiegand or Clock-and-Data protocols. This enables users to quickly add the RFID technology from HID to various electronic devices, such as an alarm panel, electronic lock, biometric reader, logical access device and process control device, through input line controls, including buzzer and multi-color LED.
