The idea of smart campus came about in 2010, gradually moving from the highlighted digital learning to the integration of software and hardware emphasized in the following years. The idea has narrowed from the campus to the classroom. Microprogram has profound experiences and energy in access card system and space management of indicative colleges.     The labor and energy costs rise every year. Colleges and universities work on the plan for energy saving and carbon reduction and control of electricity fee. They encourage teachers and students to voluntarily save energy, however, the outcome is inefficient. Based on the experience in campus and space management, Microprogram decided to cooperate with NCHU to resist the rise of labor and energy costs in 2017. Microprogram developed the smart energy saving system of classroom and synchronized the power supply of classroom with the course timetable. It detects the real-time human flow to control the power supply. By using this system, NCHU can achieve smart energy saving and remote power control without patrol.   • Our system integrates the course timetable and detects the human flow and saves energy automatically

    Microprogram develops this system with ease based on our experience in space management system. In Phase I, our system connects with the course system for unmanned power management. In addition, the system connects with the pixel machine on the top of the classroom entrance and detects the human flow to control the power supply of a given classroom accordingly. The unmanned management of course timetable also allows faculties to conduct the management manually according to course extension. To extend the time for power supply, faculties just need to put the management card on the card reader on the lecturer's desk. This function enhances the flexibility of management for different scenarios.

  • Our system detects and collects data and finds out the power leakage in a smart, advanced way

    In addition to the basic energy saving management system in Phase I, NCHU, currently in Phase II, added the function for detecting and collecting power consumption data. The system notifies the administrator to pay attention to the power consumption when the classroom is empty and when no power should be consumed. This helps determine the overcharge and notify the administrator to check power leakage. Users can find out power leakages in a smart way.

We can only control the power supply for the entire classroom instead of each appliance separately. We hope that we can use the system to control the power supply of each appliance. We will increase the effectiveness of safety and energy saving by upgrade of energy control and extend the application of our system from the campus to other fields.
